| To reduce the time needed to obtain an even moisture content on large timber sections, lengths are bored out prior to the kiln drying process. This allows the timber to dry out internally as well as externally reduce the drying process. These square blanks are extremely stable and are used for the construction of staircase newel posts, table legs, door frames and small scale buildings.
