Solid Oak flooring
As is the case with all of our product the solid oak flooring is produced on site from scratch. We begin the process by taking a European oak tree that we have personally selected from the forest. The team in the sawmill then plank the tree and stack the boards with battens between the layers to allow air to flow between enabling them to air dry. Once the air drying process is complete the planks are then Kiln dried ready for machining. We machine all our flooring here on site so have complete control over sizes and grades. After the boards are machined we have a team that oils them by hand in a choice of colors with the option of distressing and various finishes. We are able to produce a range of widths and lengths from 50mm wide to 350mm and lengths from 1.5m to 6m.
