Green Oak frame Porch produced by hand in Kent
Here is a very bespoke Gothic style oak porch it features carved fascia board arched windows and a chunky green oak frame. This porch was done on the same project as the well that is seen in a previous post, the green oak frame was hand made in Kent and features traditional mortise and tenon joints held together with oak pegs. We believe in keeping things to a very high standard and that is why we use our own timber in our own workshop in Kent to produce our products. Doing this allows us to be in complete control of the entire process and ensure we continue to reach the high standards we strive to achieve. When cutting the green oak the staff in the sawmill are conscientious of what it is being used for, for example they know the timber that best suites green oak frames and the timber that best suites solid oak flooring.
